Find Your Neighborhood School

Are you a Denver resident and need to enroll for the 2018-19 school year? You may enroll directly at the neighborhood school that serves your address. Visit School Finder to determine your neighborhood school. To enroll, contact the school office directly for registration dates and required documents.

In some parts of Denver, DPS uses shared-boundary enrollment zones. Learn more about DPS enrollment zones.

Need a New School?

If you would like to attend a school other than your neighborhood school for 2018-19, you may participate in Round 2 of SchoolChoice, which is open until Aug. 31. Click here for more information on Round 2. After Aug. 31, you may request a New Student Enrollment form (for grades 1-12 only) from the neighborhood school that serves your address, or from a Choice and Enrollment office.

If you want to enroll in a DPS school other than your neighborhood school for the 2019-20 school year, you may take part in Round 1 of SchoolChoice. The Round 1 window for the 2019-20 school year is Feb. 1-28, 2019. Click here to learn more about Round 1 of SchoolChoice.

Mid-Year Transfers

Families who want to transfer between schools during the school year may submit an Administrative Transfer Form. Transfer approval is based on space availability, demonstration of genuine need and student history. Families who are new to Denver or have moved within DPS during the school year can submit a Mid-Year Entry Form. Call 720-423-3493 for information.
